What is Subharti Medical College Meerut?

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, popularly known as Subharti Medical College is affiliated to Swami Vivekananda Subharti University (SVSU). SVSU is a private university established in 2008. The university is run by the Subharti K.K.B. Charitable Trust which was founded by Smt Rajwati Bhatnagar in the year 1991. S.V.S.U was a result of vision and combined efforts of Dr. Atul Krishna and Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar with the objective of providing quality and affordable education with the best of facilties to its students. The university has a vast campus of 250 acres which also includes the medical college and the hospital. The college is under the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is recognised by the Medical Council of India.

The college has 150 seats for M.B.B.S. and also runs various Post graduation courses of M.D and M.S in different branches and Diploma in Anaesthesia.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Subharti Hospital is a huge tertiary Care Hospital of the university with the bed capacity of 1103 which includes 76 ICU beds. The hospital is the biggest in Meerut and offers inpatient and outpatient services in various specialities. The hospital offers best of medical and diagnostic facilities and an excellent clinical exposure to the aspiring doctors. The university also has various other rural medial establishments.
The college has a distinguished and dedicated staff which have multiple publications and they keep themselves updated with the latest medical evidenced based practises.
