What is Mewar University?

Mewar University is an Independent University which is being governed by the government of Rajasthan under the Act No.4 2009, which is approved by the Rajasthan Assembly. The University is sponsored by the Mewar Education Society (MES). The university as well as Management is leaded by the Chairperson Shri Ashok Kumar Gadiya. There are three campus of the university located in different location i.e. Hyderabad, Chittorgarh and Gaziabad. The university provides hostel facilities for both Boys and Girls where around 2500 students can easily accommodate. Each hostel is having separate wings along with a common room. The students are here provided with the great opportunity of Sports such as Volley ball, badminton, cricket, basketball, etc and indoor games including chess, carom and table tennis. To maintain the health of the inmates, university provides gym service at zero cost. In addition to this, Meditation and Yoga classes are being provided on regular basis. The university consists of several academic programs including undergraduate as well as graduate courses such as B.Tech, BBA, B.E, Bachelor of journalism & Mass Communication, B.Sc, BMLT, LLB, LLB(integrated), B.A, B.Com and many more. Several subjects such as Social sciences, Self employment programmes, Technology, Science, Women Empowerment & Awareness, vocational education, humanities, etc are offered in M.Phil and PhD programmes.
