What is Zesco?
Zesco is a leading energy distribution company based in Zambia that generates and transmits electricity in the country. It is a public limited company managed by the state government. The company was originally introduced in the year 1970 as Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation Limited. In the year 1994, it was incorporated as ZESCO Limited when the performance contracts finalized with Zambia Government.
