What is Unb Fredericton?
UNB, stands for University of New Brunswick is a public coeducational institution which has two campuses: Fredericton campus and Saint John campus. The university consists of thirteen faculties and Three colleges. Fredericton campus is the main campus of the university that was opened in the year 1785. Its Fredericton campus has ten faculties and two colleges including Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Business administration, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Management, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Kinesiology, Faculty of Science,
Faculty of Nursing, College of Extended Learning and Renaissance College. Unb is affiliated Canadian Virtual University (CVU), Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS), International Association of Universities (IAU), Canadian University Society for Intercollegiate Debate (CUSID) and among others. The University has 60 research centers and institutes. UNB serves more than 10,638 students including 9,061 undergraduates and more than 1,577 postgraduates. University of New Brunswick offers numerous degree courses in the fields of arts, applied management, business, computer science, financial mathematics, engineering, health science, law, philosophy, software engineering and sports studies. It has well qualified approximately 620 staff in their respective fields. The university students participates in many sports activities like basketball, hockey, track and field, soccer, volleyball,cross country and swimming.
