The chain is mainly famous for its submarine sandwiches. Its product line mainly consists of ICE Cream, Sandwiches, Soups and Salads. The original store is located in Chicago but now there are 290 locations, where the restaurants of the chain are available. The original store was later purchased by Bryant Keil in 1996 and second store was opened the very Next year. The initial product in the menu of the chain was a variety of different sandwiches, which were served on multi-grain wheat bread or regular bread. It was in the year 2007 that the salads were added to the menu of Potbelly.
