Dear pilot pen:
I would like to comment on the Pilot Namiki Falcon, fine nib, Fountain Pen. I purchased this pen after many hours of online research. I read blogs, watched YouTube reviews and eventually convinced myself to order the pen. The pen arrived and I removed it from the box, filled it and began to write. Mechanically this pen is a dream. Genuinely responsive with consistent immediate flow. The one thing that haunts me about this Pen is that it is too light weight. In hand, it does not feel like a serious fountain pen. It seems like a toy and not worth the stature of a "real" fountain pen. Now, I should have known better than to purchase something as personal and intimate as a fine writing instrument without first holding it in my hand. If I had I would have liked it, but would not have purchased it. I have been an avid fointain pen user for years and am looking for a replacement and up grade for my long time Waterman Fountain Pen. The Falcon (resin) is a nice pen, but it just does not feel like the up grade I was hoping for. I guess I will continue my search. My next choice will be the Pilot Justice 95 with the adjustable fine point nib. Thank you for your time. Sincerly,
G. Santo Haas.
