What is Palladium Theatre London?

The London Palladium theater is located in westminister City of London and has an arrangement of 2,286 seats. the Palladium theatre started as a public performance venue. Royal level of performances were and are still held in this theatre. It is the most famous theatre in London and United Kingdom because of the stars who have played there and for the variety of musical shows. This theatre was built in the year 1910 by Walter Gibbons was later rebuilt by Fredrick Hengler. In 1926 Lennie Dean played the role of Cinderella in a play in this theatre and is still famous for that show. In 1928 this theatre was managed by George Black and was transferred into cinema for a period of three months. Earlier it was Palladium theatre and the part London was added to it in the year 1934. The Palladium theatre has a revolving stage and has a telephone system of its own.
In 1945 Val Parnell came as a Managing Director of London palladium Theatre. From 1955-67 live top rated Itv variety shows were broadcasted every week. In year 2000 the Theatre came under the ownership of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really useful Group. Bafta award function on 20 May 2007 also took place in Palladium theatre and was broadcasted on Bbc Television and the BAFTA award function was organized in 2010 also. the London Palladium completed its 100 years on boxing day 2010 and one hour special program namely “ 100 Years of Palladium” was aired on 31 December 2010 on BBC TWO.
