What is Oakville Place Contact?
Oakville Place is the largest indoor mall shopping mall situated in Oakville, Ontario Province, Canada. It was opened in 1981. It has added more space for retail and food courts with major renovations that were completed in 2004 and 2008. It can easily be viewed from Queen Elizabeth Way, the most used highway for transportation making the mall easily approachable.
The mall is spread up to two floors with total area of 4,53,000 sq. feet. There are total of 98 shops, under different categories viz., departmental stores, clothing, luggage, bank, electronics, home decorations, gifts, health, jewelery, recreation, food retail, services, shoes and purses, photography, restaurants, stationery and boutiques. In addition to these stores, farmers' market is also available, for limited days of week, which sells local produced fresh fruits, flowers. vegetables, baked products, sea food and poultry items. The farmers' market is organized in the lower parking area of the mall on the Southeast side at Leighland Avenue and Trafalgar Road
The mall has a food court with capacity of 700 seating, located on on the second floor. Its a multi cuisine food court and also serves international culinary. The food court launched an environment friendly approach by introducing washable plate system that will help to reduce use of water, electricity and garbage, for which it was given Oakville Environmental Excellence Award.
Other services and facilities available are free Wi-Fi, gift card of various denominations, playpen, washrooms, paid photocopy and fax, wheelchairs, walkers, change room for babies, high chairs for children (in food court) and selected parking stall for permitted vehicles near all entrances to mall and food court.
The mall has won two Gold Maple Leaf awards in 2010 for innovation in marketing (Stylista Challenge) and food court (one plate at one time). These awards were given by International Council of Shopping Centers.
