Nutella is one of the brands of "Ferrero", an Italian food and confectionery products manufacturing company. The brand specializes in chocolate spread that was launched in the year 1964. The brand products are composed of skimmed milk, hazelnut, sugar, cocoa solids and Palm oil. The history of Nutella is linked with a bakery in Alba, which was owned by an Italian businessman, Pietro Ferrero. Prior to the launch of the brand, the founder sold Pasta Gianduja and in 1951, he started selling its creamy version under the name "Supercrema". Pietro's son, Michele Ferrero, continued the hazelnut business and marketed "Supercrema" in the European markets. After that, Michele modified the brand as Nutella. The brand became, so much popular that the World Nutella Day is celebrated every year on 5th of February.
