What is Maybank Cyberjaya?

Cyberjaya is a town which forms the Multimedia Super Corridor in Malaysia with a science park as its core. It is located in the district of Sepang, Selangor and is known as Silicon Valley of Malaysia. It's formation arosed out of an idea for an IT themed city whose study was undertaken by Mc Kinsey. The Central theme with which the idea of making this IT city was undertaken was to provide leading edge multimedia centre, efficient transportation systems, emphasis on state-of-the-art integrated infrastructure. Cyberview a government of Malaysia owned company undertook projects for city wide maintenance and community centric programmes in the Town of Cyberjaya.Primarily Cyberjaya was used for Palm plantations but after that it included activities like boutique hotel, community club, commercial buildings and even the multimedia development corporation. Many Big companies has its hub here as Dell, HP, Wipro, Shell IT, Monster.com and many more. Even it has a big university named Multimedia University which has been constructed which includes 19% of foreign students from 80 countries and offers courses as engineering, creative multimedia, information technology and has a high tech research area.Even it has many good public facilities which are provided as recreational parks, sports arena, pedestrian walkways, free parking bays and a big Lake garden which includes information centre, look out towers, children's playground, tennis court, football field, food court, squash courts, gymnasium and much more. Due to the construction of expressways and Highways near cyberjaya the distance has been cut short to some few minutes and people can reach stations, airports and ports within less time. It is one of the Malaysia'a premier IT hub.
