What is Lingayas Lalita Devi Institute?

Lingaya’s Lalita Devi Institute of Management and Sciences is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and approved by government of NCT and NCTE. The NAAC has accredited the institute with GRADE ‘A’. Their campus is in Chattarpur, New Delhi.

The Institute has various excellent facilities. As the institute is located in a remote area where eatables are not available easily, a hygienic cafeteria is made available to the students and staff members. They have a gymnasium in the campus keeping in mind the thought that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. The institute has a well equipped library with a wide range of text-books on various the subjects. It is centrally air conditioned and provides a Reading room for self study purpose. It also has internet facility for its users. It has various laboratories like the computer lab which has more than 150 computers, maths lab, psychological lab and an Audio video research center for acquiring practical knowledge. The hostel of the institute is well equipped with facilities like wi-fi, television sets in common room, guest rooms, mini-library, emergency hospital etc. The Auditorium, which is the pride of the institute has a seating capacity of more than thousand people. It has excellent audio and lighting system. It is used for cultural activities and other related activities if the institute. There are also other facilities like the studio and seminar hall.

To enhance the soft skills of the students, institute organizes many extra curricular activities.

The institute has its own e-magazine known as “Lingaya’s Voice”. It is created by the students on voluntary basis. The write UPS in the magazine has wide range of topics. The editor, who is changed after every few months, chooses the articles that are to be published in the magazine. There is a provision to comment on each issue in order to improve it.

LLIDMS provides platform to students to show their talents through WE Clubs that persuades students to organize various events.
