BSNL or Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is an Indian government telecommunications company. It is one of the oldest Telecom companies in India headquartered in Delhi, India. BSNL was incorporated on 15 September 2000, and started telecom services on 1 October 2000. Today, BSNL is India's oldest and largest communication service provider around the country works in different telecoms sector such as Cellular Mobile Telephone Service, Universal Telecom Service, Cellular Mobile Telephone Services, WLL-CDMA Telephone Services and Internet. The company was initially started to offer reliable fixed line telephony and quality service to people of India. With the passage of time, the company moved to other services such as Mobile Telephony, Internet Service, Digital Television and IPTV. To offer reliable Internet experience, the company started 3G service in the country; initially started in major towns and cities later expanded to suburbans and rural areas. BSNL has 3G services in 826 cities across India. The company offers 3G service through HSDPA/HSUPA and HSPA etc. Bsnl Broadband has approximately 8.09 million customers around the country which are given the service of multi- protocal, video, voice etc. According to the report of Trust Research Advisory, BSNL is listed in the 65th position of the list of Most Trusted Brands in India.
