What is Jet Connect?
Jet Connect is a domestic low cost airlines by Jet Airways, one of the major airlines in India based in Mumbai, India. The major objective to setup this airlines was to run low economy airlines which can cater customer who longs for low fare services. Jet Connect began its operations on 8th May 2009 by Naresh Goyal, who is serving the designation of chairperson in the company. The company started this Jet Airways Connect to shut down the old loss making sectors, and to fulfill all need of customers at affordable price. The airlines approximately operates 170 daily scheduled flights all over the country, generally runs flights on key domestic routes and covers few major cities of the country including Ahmadabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru. Chhatrapti Shivaji International Airport is the major hub for the airlines, and apart from this, its secondary bases are Chennai International Airport and Indira Gandhi International Airport. Through the journey, passenger are served with sandwiches, brownies, hot and cold beverages like Cold-dring , Tea, Coffee etc in airline. The airlines also offers magazines to customer to go through called 'Jet Wing', an in-flight magazine. The airline has launched JetShoppe scheme through which customer can afford various international quality products at very affordable prices. Baggage information Jet Connect:
Cabin baggage: A carry-on baggage of 7kgs, one piece within dimensions 55 cms X 35 cms X 25 cms is allowed to carry free of cost. In addition to this, a hand bag, coat, walking stick, over wrap, umbrella, etc, can also be carried into the flight in the passenger cabin.
Check-in baggage: Passengers are allowed to carry a free check-in baggage weighing up to 30kgs, however, excess baggage is reasonably charged. In must be noted that the size of the baggage should be with 158cm.
Special baggage: A single item, which should not exceed 158 cm, of water ski item, snow board, bicycle, golf kit, etc, is allowed to carry as special baggage.
