Company registered his name under New York Stock Exchange and separated from the Philadelphia company in 1950. In 1984, company re-branded its name to Equitable Resources, Inc. Company offered its first fixed bill Energy contract in 1995 and its irrespective weather conditions. In 1997, acquired NORESCO and Appalachian wells and reserves from Statoil Energy in 2000. Company changed its corporate name to EQT corporation in 2009. First CNG fueling station was setup in 2011 at Pittsburgh.
