College of Fine Arts, Delhi was established in the year 1942. It is under the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts, University of Delhi. The college is located at Tilak Marg, New Delhi. It was established for advanced training in Visual Art, both creative and applied. It is a premier Art College offering courses in most mediums of Visual Arts. It offers a four years Bachelors in Fine Arts (BFA) course and a two year Masters in Fine Arts (MFA) course. The number of seats available for BFA are 195+16 in various disciplines like Applied Art, Art History, Painting, Print Making, Sculpture and Visual Communication. For MFA, the number of seats are 50+5 in five specializations which include Applied Art, Painting, Print Making, Sculpture and Visual Communication. Apart from these, it also offers Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma Courses to provide education in Fine Arts to Deaf and Dumb students. It is amongst the top ranking Fine Arts colleges in the country. It emphasizes on practical studio work, outdoor practical, study of prescribed theory and research in selected fields. They have the best of faculty for training their students and also have a group of visiting faculty expert in the field.
