What is Chunghwa Telecom?
Chunghwa Telecom is shortly known as CHT, is a provider of mobile communication services in Taiwan. It is the Taiwan's largest telecommunication company with services like wireless, data transmission, telephony, fixed line, mobile, broadband access service and Internet service. In addition to this, Chunghwa Telecom is also engaged in marketing of mobile devices and data cards.
Chunghwa Telecom provides services through several business groups which include Northern Business, Southern Taiwan Business, Mobile Business, Data Communications, Enterprise Business, Telecom Laboratories and Telecom Training Institute.
The company has established many subsidiary companies worldwide. Chunghwa Telecom started operations on July 1, 1996. The head office of the company is situated in Zhongzheng District, Taipei.
