What is Burnaby Public Library?
The Burnaby Public Library shortened as BPL, a Canada based public library that was incorporated as North Burney Library Association in the year of 1927. Later, in 1954, it was re-introduced with its current name by local municipal law. It includes a large collection of Books, Music CD's, e-books, Maps, Periodicals, Genealogical Archives, Business Directories and Local History. Additionally, many services like free downloadable audio books, interlibrary loan, Internet access, community information, reader's advisory services, access to full text databases and many more. It also organizes various kinds of programs for children, youth and adult. Furthermore, the employees of the Burnaby Public Library also delivers the books, videos, DVD's, Music Cd's, Audio books etc to the Citizens who are physically disabled, ill health, Frailty, living in private hospitals, group homes and others. The facilities of Burnaby Public Library are used by nearly 202,966 people and has a circulation of 3,982,449. In order to serve the needs of millions of people, the library has been regulating its 4 business divisions which are centralized in the regions of Cameron, McGill, Metro-town and Tommy Douglas.
