What is Bharat Sevashram Sangha Delhi?

Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a Hindu charitable non-government organization headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It was established in the year 1917 by Swami Pranavananda Maharaj and has large number of ashrams throughout India and other parts of the world. The Bharat Sevashram Sangha in Delhi was established in the year 1971 and is located at Swami Pranavananda Marg, Shriniwaspuri, New Delhi, India. The branch is responsible for large number of matters related to the Sangha in the northern region of the country. The Sangha also has various social-welfare activities and programs. The various activities performed by the Bharat Sevashram Sangha in New Delhi include Dharamshala with the accommodation facility for more than two-hundred people and it remains open for patients, students, pilgrims and tourists and provides shelter to the needy people. The Pathology and Radiology Lab is also located in the Sangha and the lab is equipped with modern equipments to provide charitable service to those people with financial hardships. The Sangha also houses a Computer training institute established in the year 2002 to provide computer education to the needy students and the institute is affiliated to the NIELIT. The other services of the Sangha include Auditorium with a seating capacity of more than four hundred seats, school and vocational institute for physically and mentally challenged students and Mobile Medical Unit.
