This paper is to be put in the newspaper box under the mailbox on my mother's home at 767 E. Wilson St., Batavia, She is 101 years old and CANNOT get out of the house to get the paper if it is not in this box. She says that three times this week she did not get a paper. I tried to call, but the 800 number needs an account which she cannot find on the statement I left at her home when I paid the bill and your company is giving my address when I call from my homeo-what a stupid system that I cannot get to a person to give them her information so she can get a paper today and a credit for the other two days this week. The delivery has been a problem ever since the Tribune took over - I have the same awful service on my paper delivery. My phone is 630-406-7925 - it does no good to call her as she does not understand why she is not getting a paper she has paid for for a year-it would be bett service if you let people pay by the day so the customer only paid when a paper was received. She does not have a computer so I am sending this message-have someone take her a paper now so she has Sunday 9-4 paper - if not give her credit for the four days this week she did not get a paper and send me an email documenting the credit-my eemail is man1941@yahoo.com-hopefully there is someone there smart enough to do this (I assume it won't be one the the "head honchos" in the glass offices telling themselves how great a job they do because the people know better.
