Ambulance Nb Phone Number

I am a retired Extra Mural nurse. Between 2000 2045 tonight Wednesday Aug. 25 I witnessed a woman fly off her bicycle, after losing her front wheel. She flew over the bike and landed on her head, without saving herself with her hands, she lay bleeding and unconscious for over five minutes, until help arrived ambulance, firemen RCMP (arrived first). I had just given my statement to RCMP when I heard one of the EMTs say lets sit her up, she wants to sit up. I immediately went up to them and said, :do you realize she landed on her head, and she did, not save herself at all, her head hit the pavement first. At that point a first responder )I think he might have been A fireman turned to the RCMP officer and said please have this woman removed from the scene". I thew up my hands and left. The RCMP were very respectful and apologetic about the incident. I did identify myself as a retired nurse who had witnessed the accident This incident has left me wondering if this event could have been handled better, perhaps at the very least a neck collar applied? The RUDE behaviour of the fireman responder? makes me question if there was a definite lack of training (knowledge) on the scene tonight. As an addendum to my previous note, upon thinking further about the previous info I sent, the man who was rude and aggressive with me wore a white shirt with a identifying patch on his left upper sleeve, I assumed that the EMT, s would all be busy with the injured woman, but I now think it was an EMT who was so rude and refused to acknowledge me after I told him I was a retired nurse and had witnessed the accident. He was in his 40, s? tall and lean and english was his first language I believe I sincerely hope you investigate this incident. The public deserves better. A neck collar and spinal board were in order with this incident.
