Replaced starter clutch on OEM HD TC 96 2008 model with your replacement. Travel engagement of your unit over ring gear is approximately. 100 less than stock clutch. This is not good. Would you consider this a defective part? Running this as is will load pinion gear and eventually cause it to fail and possibly damage new ring gear. Any ideas why the travel comes up short?.
